ME TENIR COMPAGNIE
J’habitais dans un
quartier pauvre, mon père faisait du bricole, il gagnait 50 dollars/mois ;
ma mère travaillait chez une famille étrangère ;
Bitter poverty
KEEP ME COMPANY
I lived in a poor neighborhood, my father was doing odd jobs, he earned $ 50 / month, my mother worked in a foreign family, brings us some nice food, brings us to eat, cut the cheese, half bottle of jam filled, running backs buns chocolate gadgets, toys, evenfurniture damaged. Poverty in all its colors we partner, we are led from bad to worse, I was a schoolboy among the best in class and yet I have not the means that my colleagues had, my circumstances were pushing me to flee the actually, I happened one day that I had lost my shoes, nothing prevents me from going to school barefoot everyone was laughing at me, the school principal had sent me in truth I felt marginalized, I was ten, I thought to leave school, as long as nobody thinks of me, this is where I began to taste a bitter poverty.
